New Video Upload: Weight Watchers 3 SP Overnight Oats Recipe!

Hello, Everyone!

It was a super HOT day in Texas (as usual) and can you believe it – my AC was on the fritz!!! So what else could I do while I sat around for the AC guy to come and fix my AC? – you guessed it – I filmed a new recipe video!

You can definitely see me sweat in this video – whew!- it was 83 degrees in my apartment! *faints* But I kept super cool with my delicious and 3SP Overnight Oats Recipe.

In order to get started, you’re going to need a mason jar. The one seen in this video is a regular mouth quart jar. You can find these at your local markets and on Amazon (affiliate link).

For this recipe, you can buy the Weight Watchers Oatmeals in the meeting rooms or online here. You can also buy them on Amazon (affiliate link)!

For the HEB Sugar Free Oatmeals, you can purchase them at your HEB stores, or you can try to order them online here and here. Keep in mind they aren’t as flavorful as the Weight Watchers oatmeals.

Or, you could use your preferred choice of oatmeal, just make sure to calculate your points. In this recipe, the only points are coming from the oatmeal. The rest of the ingredients are Zero Smartpoints.

I truly hope you like this recipe! And if you notice at the end of this video, the scenery COMPLETELY changed! LOL That’s because just as I was about to wrap up the video, the repair men came in and I had to stop filming.

I cleaned up my kitchen and finished out the video after they left. Did you catch the change of scenery? LOL

Plus, I have one hilarious epic fail when I tried to use my strawberry huller. I had no clue how to use it! LOL

And just what should I name a combo of Ross/Marshall’s? Rossall’s or how about Maross? We need to come up with a celebrity couple name mash-up because I swear I can never keep these stores apart, or guess which store I bought what item. They’re completely the same!

Can’t wait for you to try this recipe! It’s completely portable and it keeps well. The longer you keep it in your fridge, the more time it gives the oats to soak up all the yumminess. Just keep in mind to only keep it for up to 4 days. It’s perfect for prepping for that hurried quick breakfast in the morning, and it’ll keep you full all until lunch – even if you have a George like me!

Ingredients:

  • Mason jar: Regular mouth quart jar
  • 2/3 cup of Silk 25 calorie Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk
  • 1/2 cup of 30 calorie Almond Breeze/Great Value Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Chosen Foods Organic Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Bob’s Red Hill Golden Flaxseed Meal
  • 1 container of Weight Watcher’s Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (Maple Brown Sugar or Strawberries ‘n’ Cream) or HEB Sugar Free Assorted Flavors Instant Oatmeal – OR – use your preferred oatmeal of choice, just calculate your points.
  • Add 2 handfuls of your favorite berries, preferably frozen
  • 10 medium sized or 5 large Organic Fresh Strawberries – sliced
  • 1 sliced banana

Instructions:

Combine the milks, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and oatmeal in a regular mouth mason jar. Add the oatmeal, next add two handfuls of your favorite berries – I love frozen blueberries. Next, slice ten medium sized or five large fresh, Organic strawberries. Seal your mason jar and shake contents.

This keeps in your refrigerator for up to four days. Right before enjoying your overnight oats, slice a banana and add it into your jar. Seal the jar and shake the contents. Open your jar, grab a spoon, and enjoy!

  2. Mine came out very runny. Followed the recipe exactly except for flax seeds. Do they thicken it up?

    1. Hiya! Everything thickens up the longer you leave it in your fridge. I like it a little thicker, so I mention in the video that I like to leave mine for 2 days to thicken up. Plus, make sure you don't add too much frozen fruits in your jar. The more frozen fruits, the more watery it becomes. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by and commenting. :)

  3. Hi Julie let me start off by saying I love this recipie and love your blog and YouTube channel! I just started ww and you have helped me so much already. When I was looking for all the ingredients for this the flax seeds kept coming up 1 point for 1/2 a tbsp. No matter what kind or color. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks a bunch!
